    Bathtub Faucet Replacement
I have a garden tub with separate hot and cold fixtures and a spout between. They are mounted on a horizontal surface on the edge of the tub. There is no access to the plumbing under them. I want to replace them but do not know how accomplish that. The spout is the only one with a set screw at the bottom. Can I take a pipe wrench to the fixtures an just unscrew them from the bathtub? If I did would the lift out enough for me to attach a new fixture. What secures these fixtures in the tub? Lot of questions. I am novice but anxious to learn.
