Help me fix my 1990 civic hatchback 1.5
o.k so I just bought this 1990 honda civic hatchback... it ran fine for about 2 days then every time I would go to slow down it would bog down and want to die... so I put a new fuel filter on it and a new main relay... I started the car and drove it but then when I came to a stop it died and still has not started? What could this be?

At least answer the 3 basic diagnostic questions.

If you can answer "Yes" to each of those questions, I would suspect the igniter (remember to coat back of igniter with silicone grease). However, because of the age of the car, I would replace the igniter, coil, distributor cap, rotor, spark plugs, and spark plug wires.

If you answer "No" to the first question, focus on the ACG (S) (ALT) fuse, ECM (K-Test), or ignition switch. It's good that you already replaced the main relay.

You can reset your ECM by disconnecting the negative. Battery cable for 10 seconds.

There's a lot of life left in many of these old Civics, but you need to breath new life into their electrical systems. Otherwise, the reliability and performance won't be there and you will think you put your money down a rat hole.
