Dumped by girl to concentrate on work
I dated a girl 2 years ago for a couple of months but it didn't work out as she wasn't happy with herself. Fast forward 2 years and we started seeing each other again. We were crazy about one another could get enough of one another constantly contacting each other and planning things for the future.

She has recently started a new job that she's finding stressful then out the blue I get a text message saying it's not working as she needs to concentrate on her job but she really likes me and the timing is just bad.

I'm guessing the general consensus is to just leave it, but do you think there will be a chance things will work themselves out?

I think as adults, it's not always easy to spend as much time as we want with those we care for. We do all have responsibilities and obligations, but generally fit in some time for other people.

However, if she isn't willing to put forth any effort to keep you in her life, then it's time to face up to the fact that you are not really important to her anymore and it's time to just accept the break up and move on.

This is like being on an airplane, and YOU'RE the only one who doesn't have a parachute. You're constantly on lookout for the first sign of trouble, and not knowing when the crew is going to bail on you. She has a chute. A reserve even. YOU.

    Don't board that plane, again...

Invest your time and heart in someone a little more solid.

Healthy relationships are about working together for a common goal. She no longer wants to work with you, to be with you. Accept it, move on, and eventually you will find someone that will find time for you, no matter the circumstances.

Hmm, didn't work two years ago, and it didn't work now. My guess is even if she does come back, it probably won't work in the future. Geeez, how many chances do you need?
