Washing machine water is draining and filling up the toilet, what can cause this?
Why will the water not drain out to the line in the yard? Instead, the water from the washer fills up the toilet. On a regular flush, the toilet water comes to the top. Lines have been snaked, even the vent on the roof, but did find out the main line under the house from the toilet to the backyard pipe is leaking water. Pipe is the original installed about 60 years ago. Any advice?
