    Washing Machine not draining water
My washing machine seems to have stopped before the rinse cycle and it hasn't emptied the bottom of the drum. I've tried starting it in different cycles and it won't turn on in any other cycle except Spin, and when that goes on it makes a noise but doesn't turn, I guess because it cannot when its full.

Any ideas on what I can do to get it drained and hopefully back up and running? The unit is 4 years old and is a GE

Hi! My front load washing machine occasionally has water (1-2 gallons) in it even though it has not been in use. I suspect the bathroom shower/tub upstairs may somehow be leaking water (draining) into the machine when it receives heavy use. Is this even possible and who should I call, a plumber...

I would like to put my grey water from my washing machine into a hole with rock in it about 75' from the house. Does this sound like a good idea? Will the soap cause a lot of problems for the ground? Is there a specific kind of soap to use, if you have a septic system?
