 I have a new rock fireplace that still has some dust coming from it. Do I need to seal the rock or the mortor to prevent this. Is so what do I use. Thanks

 We have one whole wall covered in "natural" rock - with fireplace on one side. Rocks are uneven, wide mortar, some are porous - none are flat and smooth. We would like to refinish to place a nice "focal point" in the living room. What can we use to make a nice finish?
