It is both foolish and dangerous AND against AMHD rules to post a phone number, particularly one belonging to someone else.

Maybe this post is truthful; maybe it's not. Anyone who helps you is taking a big chance here.

First, did you have a lease? How much notice did he give you to move? Why did you move without fighting it? Or did you move? You left that unclear. Also where do you live? Any question about Law needs to include a general location as laws vary.

This is not a Police matter. Don't you have an address for him on the lease?

I don't quite understand this - normally your deposit is not returned to you until your lease ends and you move and there is no damage.

Have you been evicted or have you moved?
    Something here isn't right -

As I said you left it unclear whether you have moved or not. If only one month of your lease has passed then he had no right to ask you to move out.

If you haven't moved, then I would recommend that you get together with the other tenants and deposit your rent payments into an escrow account. Contact the utilities that supply the building and ask them to inform you if the utilities are unpaid. Then make payments from the escrow account. Continue like this until a new landlord steps forward.

It would probably be better to get a lawyer to setup and administer the escrow account.
