    Will a 5 ton compressor work with a 3 ton unit
    I have a 3 ton unit the compressor burnt up can I replace the compressor with a 5 ton compressor and leave the rest of the unit as is 3 ton?

    Lol, not for long. Yes, you can get it to cool but the compessor won't last for long.
