    Tree worms
I discovered a nest in one of my tree's, thought it might have been a spiders nest, but I live in Northern Ontario,we don't have large spiders here. It's a large nest, made of silk and had a lot of worms in it. The leaves on the branches were dead.Wonder if you could help me, I took pictures of it,but not quite sure how to send them, Hope you can help

Lori, don't worry if you are having trouble loading photos. I am pretty sure your tree is a victim of the tent caterpillar. They are very destructive to the host trees. They stripped my apple trees a few years back.

Please look at this site & the photos. Do the nests resemble the picture? If so, although the site talks about Washington State, tent caterpillars are found in most of the Northern states as well as Canada
