Let me put it this way, she is geriatric dog, compare an 80 year old woman getting pregnant, if she could, it would be devastating to her body. I don't think that is possible, but I certainly hope not for her sake. Does she still come in season? If she still comes in season, there is a good possibility and you should not let that happen in case she is not suitable to carry pups right now.

You need to take her to the vet. She's really old to be having pups. At 11, her hip bones are now soldily fused, so if it would happen, she would probably have to have a C-section.
Why not get her spayed?

Was she in heat? If she wasn't in heat, than it's highly doubtful. If so and you don't take your dog to the vet for a spay/abort, than be prepared to loose your dog and the pup(s) she may by any miracle of a chance conceive.
The above two posts have stated the horrendous possibilities, so please for the sake of your dog, get her to a vet.

I agree that this shouldn't have been allowed to happen and there is a possibility of a pregnancy, even at her advanced age, but I have to say, I can't agree with the spay at the age of 11.
There's a reason why dogs are spayed/neutered at an early age, not only for health reasons, and to prevent pregnancy and over population, but because they're young enough and healthy enough to bounce back from the surgery.
At 11, she may not recuperate or even make it through the surgery
Best to ask the vet for advice, see what he/she recommends. Even an abort is risky at this age, but not nearly as risky as her giving birth. So at least look into the abort, then discuss the spay with your vet. He/she knows your dogs health best.

A spay abort would be the same surgery.

Oops. :o
Well I guess that would be the only option then. Either way is risky, giving birth, or the surgery.
I just wish the OP had thought of this when the dog was younger.

I'm hoping that the dog wasn't in heat, and I'm thinking it wouldn't be. But you're right, it's still a horrendous situation. I wish the OP would have considered this stuff when the dog was young enough to have had the surgery in a healthy state of mind.

VET TODAY, RIGHT NOW!
There is still time to administer a misalignment injection to stop the pregnancy
It is effective up to 48 hours after a mating.
