He is a sex offender and is charged with misdemeanor criminal sexual abuse for sleeping with a 13 yr old when he was 17... for the past year he has had very little contact with kids he rarely calls, moved to Utah for.months without letting anyone know, his license is suspendedfor at least a year and the last time I heard from him was 2 weeks ago.we live in il just wondering what my chances would be in gett8n full custody.

Depends what level sex offender he is and what the terms of his sentencing were. It is possible that he could get supervised visitation. If this happened when he was 17 he was living in the house with your older child while you were pregnant with the younger child?
If you knew he was an offender at that time this does not look good for you. You can't argue that now it makes it difference but it didn't matter to you then and be 100% believed.
If there's an order for support why wasn't this addressed at that same time?
Would you have full physical custody? Yes, without a doubt unless there is something you are leaving out.

I have spoken to two attorneys one said because o knew he was a sex offender, lived with him, and had kids qith him it wouldn't come into play with custody and he would still probably get visitation rights. The other one said that or didn't matter that I.could prob get supervised visits.also the reason It this not.come up during the support is because the state was going after him for support because I receive medical benefits through the state.n they don't handle that. Also both attorneys advised me to not take him to court to let him take me because eirhwr way be woulwoyld receive some visitation either way because In Il they want both parents to be in the children'slives and rarely take It away unless one can b3 proven unfit. He doesn't ever ask to see them

If you mean will he get visits, of course he will, if he fights for them. The court may require them to be supervised by court approved people, or someone that you both agree to.
And of course this sex offender while puts him on the registery has little or no risk to his own children.
Full custody is for the kids, but even with full custody the father will get visits.

Please don't use text speak on the legal threads.
I believe he will get visitation, perhaps monitored, perhaps not. I believe that if you intend to argue he is unfit because he is a sex offender you will lose that argument because you allowed your children to be in his company, knowing his background. You can't now sort of change gears.

I'm not sure what text speak is? So I'm not sure how I used it... if you are talking to me. And I'm not planning on using the sex offense against him. I plan on just telling a judge (if it ever comes down to it) about how he never tries to see them or have contact with them, so why bother now? I doubt he will ever try and take me to court for custody I just wanted to know what others thought.. and if you are referring to me about the "text speak" I think that's a little unnecessary,I came on here to ask about my situation not to be treated rudely.

There's no rudeness involved - text speak is not allowed ("b" instead of "be") on the legal threads. I'm sorry you see it as rude.
Again - he's never going to get full custodial custody unless there's something else at play that hasn't been posted. He's just trying to scare you into submission.
