    Sears mower turns over but will not start

    Gas: Is the plug wet after several pulls?

    What happens if you put carb cleaner in the plug hole. Do you get a "sputter".

    Is the choke closing properly.

    Is it easier to pull than before.

    Did you hit something. What occurred prior to the non-start situation. New gas? Storage?

Have an older Craftsman mower, Briggs & stratton engine, has spark, appeas to be getting fuel, electric start, turns over but won't start. It says have no compression but I can feel the air coming out of the spark plug and carb. Any ideas? The piston appears to be in pretty good shape. Jimmy
