    Remote isn't woking to turn on light or fan,any suggestions?
    Our harbor breeze ceiling fan has a light also.We can't get the remote to work either one them. We have replaced the batteries to the remote-any other suggestions? Should we buy a new remote or replace the whole ceiling fan?

    My harbor breeze fan stopped working - it was the remote, not the fan, that was the problem. We bought a new remote.

    Do the fans have pullchains?

    First step is to make sure the dip switches match
