    Dacor bake element makers
Have a 10 year old Dacor ERSD48 dual fuel oven/range. The bake element has burned out and Dacor has discontinued the item. Anyone out there know where the part #62263 can be found. Searched everywhere to no avail. Dacor has been no help. This is a 4600 watt element. Can a lower wattage element (3600 watts) be adapted to work, or do we now have a 10K kitchen ornament. Thanks, Joe

I found your manual here, but I can't find the p/n. Parts Catalog

Is this part of the problem? Is the retrofit kit needed?

Generally local stores may have better resources for replacement parts.

At a company that I worked for, we had some custom elements made by these guys: http://www.watlow.com/products/heaters/ht_tubular.cfm
