Need Info on 1909 Old Mr Bostons rocking chair rocking bottle
I have a whiskey bottle called "Old Boston Rocking Chair" " 4/5 Quart" " Rocking Bottle"
Date on the bottom states 5/09. Can't seem to find information to where what and why. It rocks back and forth due to it's curved bottom. I have no cap but guessing it had a rocking chair cap. It has seams down the sides from lip to the bottom like it was two pieces put together and third on the bottom. It has the waves in the glass which tells me it has some age to it but who manufactured it and was it a commenrative bottle?

I just found two today at a goodwill, along with some really old canning jars. I picked up the whiskey bottles because I thought they were pretty to use as table décor for my wedding as vases, and then I got to thinking?. what are these; they are pretty old looking. I am glad I didn't take the labels off as planned. Let me know what comes of this, if anything. I can't find a word about them besides your posting.

I just installed a new toilet and it was rocking. The new toilet came with a new wax ring. The kind with the built in funnel.
