    What is the operating voltage of street lighting,
    What is the operating voltage of street lighting,if distribution lines carring 11kv/440v, then how it caries voltage pl explain me..

    Most of the time they are 120v around here. Most of the time they are in residential areas and are run after the final transformers. There are a few 240v units, but if you notice, there is triplex running to power them, they are not being tapped directly off the primary.
