Can a 18 year old who is incompetented by the state get married and be free?
Can an 18 year old get married if he or she is still incompetent by the state and is in adult protected services with dss. The reason of in dss because the state pronounced her incompetent when she was 17 about to age out and didn't have a job or a place to stay . If she is 18 can she get married and be free from the state and dss?

If the state and the court declared her mentally incapable then she can not. If they merely declared her unable to care for herself because of no job, that is different
