    1998 honda accord accelation problems
    My 1998 honda accord feels like I had no control on the gas pedal and it was driving without me ? Accelerating? I placed my foot on the brake and I was in control again. It happened 10 minuites later I took it to a honda dealer and they could not find anything wrong

    The Ignition Control Module (ICM) may be acting up and causing erratic rpm. Here's how to replace it yourself:

    Because of the age of the car, I would replace the coil at the same time, since you'll have the distributor opened up.
