Ah2429-1 condenser drains make gurgling noise
My AH 2429-1 heater / a/c is gurgling when the AC runs. There are two drains at the bottom of the pan surrounding the condenser coils, in-side the house. If I remove the filter, remove the front cover or interrupt one of the drain holes, the gurgling stops. Put it all back and the gurgling continues. Why are there two drains? Both connect to 3/4" PVC pipe and lead to a floor drain. One has a trap. I have the Installation and Operating Instructions, and the two drains are not even mentioned.

I've been looking for an answer to this question, and this site looks where I would find the answer. Whenever anything is drained (mainly toilets flushes, etc.) the pipes gurgle, mostly the sink. I really don't know much about plumbing, so I am wondering is there any easy solution to this issue?...
We have already, I think, cleared the sewer line to the street and got out some roots, a paper towel and filled tub to test out and the stuff came back up the tub drains and toilets. Could the Vent be plugged also? We are attached to the city sewer if that helps any. I think I saw a gentleman...
Drains and toilet gurgle during the night, when it's cold. Air bubles come up the toilet and then it actually drains itself, like the water is sucked out. Then it stops. Is this a sign of a future problem, what's happening? Only happens in the middle of the night around 3 am.
Well I went and bought the snake, I did as far from the shower trap as the snake would go, I did the kitchen drain in, and went in from the vents on the roof. All clear, I still have the same problem, I filled kitchen sink up and drain and still gurgled water in the bathroom sink. Grrr. Any...
Every time my wife runs the Dishwasher or drains water from the Kitchen sink, water gurgles up from the bathroom sink. Also the tub water drains very slowly there appears to be no clog in the tub to trap. Please help me if you know:confused: :confused:
