How to Keep kids out of yard?
I live in a subdivision that has a LOT of children, I always see groups of kids outside playing, riding bikes, walking in the middle of the street, etc. But recently they have made their way into my back yard!

I don't have any children of my own, and am young (22) I love kids, and am going to school to be a teacher, but I'm not very fond of children I don't know in my back yard! The main reason is because I have two dogs (one is 11 months, the other is 7 months) and though they are very sweet, my oldest one gets overly excited around kids and could easily jump on them and scratch them and hurt them as she's a large dog. It's inconvenient that I have to bring my dogs in when these kids show up as the only way to get them to leave.

I wasn't having too much of a problem with it until last night when a little girl was petting my youngest dog, and my oldest was barking, because she was farther away (on a tie out) and could not reach them. When I brought that dog in the little girl rudely said "Thanks for taking that dog in" I don't want to be rude to the children, or come across mean, and it is mostly for their safety, although it is kind of frustrating as well. And I also have freshly planted grass seed, I don't want getting destroyed from them running through our yard. One kid wouldn't bother me as much, but there's been as many as 8 or 10 at a time!! Am I getting overly upset about something that shouldn't bother me? Should I just continue to bring the dogs in when they show up (even though they are giving attention to the dogs) should I ask them to leave? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

    Is your yard fenced off?

    Can you fence it off?

Put up signs that say beware of the dogs? Are you allowed put up signs?

Tell them to leave,if the dog hurts one of them you can be sure their parents will be on your doorstep, protect yourself!

Ask their parents to keep them out,be firm,if something does happen to one of the kids in your yard, that would be worse then looking 'not nice'.

Ask them to leave when they are on your property.

If they were to fall or get hurt their parents can sue you ( and most will)
