    220 vAC to 110 vDC converter
    I have 220 vac which I want to convert to 110 vdc.

    What's needed?

    You will need a step-down transformer and rectifier at the least. If you need nice smooth DC you will need a filtering network of capacitors and maybe even a regulator. Depending on the requirements there may be some design time involved.
