I need to know the discharge date of my bankruptcy how do I find it?

You could call up the attorney who handled your case or you could go down to the Federal Courthouse where your bankruptcy was filed. You need the case number if you go to the Courthouse. They won't give you this information over the phone like County Court Clerks do. While you are at the Courthouse you could ask for a copy of your final discharge paperwork.

When it is discharged, the bankrutpcy court mails you a notice that it is discharged. Have you received it
