    How can I get a free copy of my bankruptcy discharge
    I had filed for bankruptcy in 1990 and got my discharge in 1991 or so> The whole documentation got lost long time ago and now I would need a copy of the discharge,where and how can I get one for free?

    If you know the lawyer you had back then they may have a copy but of course there will be a fee. Also you get a copy from the court house it will also be a small fee. Nothing this day is free.

    You can go to the bankruptcy court and get one for a very small amount, ( copy fee) and your attorney would have a copy

    I would ask, why do you need one
