26 hp Briggs and Stratton 4667
I have a Briggs and Stratton 26HP model# 4667 engine in my Husqvarna mower.
A friend and I have found bent rods in the head on the other side of the engine from the fuel intake.
We have placed two sets so far and bent both of them on the exhaust valve. Later we noticed the sleeve on the exhaust valve has slipped up. We had a machine shop press it back down to where the sleeve was discolored. Not sure that is where it should be set, it sets about 1/8” above the cast head. Is that enough? Any other information you feel is necessary for success please feel free to comment.
