    Dew point thermostat
I have noticed that, during air-conditioning season, I am comfortable when the dew-point is about 50 degrees indoors. When it is warm outdoors, I can set my A/C thermostat as high as 78 degrees and it is fine indoors. But when it is cool and foggy outdoors, I might have to set the A/C thermostat as low as 72 degrees to achieve a 50 degree dew-point. Here's my question, in three parts (I would appreciate an answer to any or all of the three parts):

    1) Does any thermostat manufacturer make a thermostat that will control the central air system according to indoor dew-point? In other words, I'd like to set the A/C to achieve a constant 50 degree dew-point, and have the system modulate the A/C setting to keep the dew-point constant.

    2) If so, can such a unit be had with a programmable feature? And finally,

    3) Can such a unit be had with a remote-sensing device to control the A/C setpoint in a different zone (e.g. tenant's apartment)?

I would be grateful for any information that I can get.

This is the best HVAC question in years. Pity Joe Public doesn't understand dew-point which I think is one of the best indicators of comfort.
