My ex got custody of our child he is sopose to pervide a home for the two of them. But he lives in his own house and he has been letting his mother raise our child is that abandoment?

What is Arkansas laws on abanomet when one has custody and the other parent has visataion and the one who has custody is letting mother raise them when he has his own place to live is this abandoment?

He has not abandoned them if he has provided a safe environment for them and takes care of them.

Many parents have help from families so they can work, even if it means working out of state/province etc.

It is probably better for the children that it is a close relative, rather than a stranger or a nanny or babysitter.

I'm thinking common sense here, but have to wonder why you would pursue that train of thought. Are you trying to gain custody?

I am not sure that it meets those requirements and it is not "criminal" since they are being cared for, but it is grounds for you to go back to court and ask for a change in custody.

So if you want him arrested, no that is not going to happen, if you want a reason to go back to court and ask for custody of them. That is a reason.

I will have to ask why he got custody, I will be blunt, unless the women has serious issues in her life, she will always get at least joint custody?
