    Adoption abandoment in FL
I used to live in NJ. My daughter's biological father, we have an indefinite restraining order against him, he was told back in 2003 if he wanted to see her he would have to go through counseling classes. We again heard from him months later offering to sign his rights over for 5k because he was locked up. I have moved from NJ to FL and am married, she only knows my husband as her father. I have had her name legally changed and there are and has never been any support orders for my daughter. How in FL can we go about him adopting her without his consent? Can we file for abondoment since we have proof that he has. It has been 5 years. What can I do??

You file for an adoption, you notify he father and ask him to sign over his rights for the adoption. If he does not agree you will have to show to the courts it would be in the best interest of the child.
If the father does not file any objection it will be easier
