    Door lock question on car
1997 Plymouth Grand voyager the sliding door will not unlock you hit the unlock on the front door and it just buzzes and won't open. If you try to do it manually it seems to be stuck so you can't move the lock button up. When you start driving the doors automatically lock and you will here it buzz. Any suggestions on how to get the door unlocked and repair it.

It's either caught on something or broken. You will probably have to take it into an auto shop and have them repair it.

Sounds like it may be binding. You will need to access the solenoid and see if it has a problem, or the lock mechanism.
Switching and relays appear to functioning correctly.
Does it work with a key, or is their no place for a key?

No place for a key someone told me to pull the door panel on the inside I could check the lock mechanism would the solenoid be located there also?
Person was saying a few screws and some clips hold the panel on.

I wish to replace a door lock set (whatever it is called). The existing one is over 40 years old and I cannot figure out how to remove it. There are no visible screws. The knob comes off by depressing a spring-loaded pin and pulling it off. I cannot see how to remove the rest of the unit.
