    Florida judgement laws
My only source of income is Social Security and Florida Retirement. Can a collection agency get a judgement and take money out of my checking account. This is an unsecured debt. Thank You.

Your SS cannot be attached. All other income - including your pension - can.

Of course, nothing can be attached unless/until there is a Judgment against you. Whether the debt is secured does not matter.

I would expect the bank account to be liened against (at some point) and everything frozen until you sort out what is SS and what is retirement. This, of course, is almost impossible to do.

I would STOP automatic deposit (if you have it) and deal on a cash basis.

Yes they can. They do not know the source of your funds, so once they are commingled into a bank account they are fair game. You may be able to forestall this by informing your bank that the only funds deposited in that account are from exempt income sources.
