    Judgement in Florida
    My brother has a judgement against him (excess balance on a car he totaled). He thinks if I co-sign a bank account; the bank account cannot be touched by the creditor.
    Is this true?

    Nope. As long as he is a joint tenant on the account they can attach it.

    Nope. They can go after anything that has his name on it, whether it bears someone else's name along with his or not.
