    How do I get a pump out of a well
    OK! My dad installed out well pump and he didn't do it rite nor did he use safety ropes so the pump came off the wiring and the pump is now at the bottom of the well.. how can we get it out? Please help asap

    Is the wellpipe still attached to the pump? Also, about how far down is it?

    No it completely came off! Nothing is attached to it and it is about 180 feet

    You will have to fish it out. Get small anchor and long rope and start fishing.
