    If your on public assistance can a judgement go forward
    I am on public assistance. I know when your served a summons to go to court they ask if your collecting any kind of public assistance does this stop someone from getting a judgement against you ?

    No, it does not stop a Judgment from being filed. The hope is that at some point in the future you will find employment or some other means of paying the Judgment.
