We are remodeling our kitchen. The cabinets are maple spice with mocha glaze. I want to do granite but torn between 2 colors. One is black and the other is called vincenza which has tans, browns, black, light gray and a little bit of ivory. I would need 42 sq. ft of counter that is including the island. I don't have a lot of natural light. My kitchen window is only 36" x 45". My dining room is directly off the kitchen with a sliding patio door 78x84. I don't know what color to paint nor do I know what to do with the soffit. I also have bisque appliances and not sure if I want to keep them or do stainless steel. Any suggestions?? I'm really confused on what color I should be using on the walls and soffit. I am going to do some sort of stone for the backsplash.

It sounds like you are going to want some versitility later on down the line, that said the vinenza will leave more options open.
