So... yeah I know I'm selfish, I'm a bad friend... blah blah blah. I Can't help how I feel about him - his name is *Josh* and he's going out with a friend I've known since year 7 (now in year 10) they've been going out for over a year now and let me make it clear I don't want to break them up they're a really good couple and make eaachother happy but I'm not, I can't bare to see them anymore they remind me constantly of him and how much I want him - I have just moved schools, told my mum I was struggling and she got me moved , but now he moved to my school to go into the 6th form I hate being around him because I feel I'm betraying my friend... I just want to finish school so I don't have to see neither of them again but I need to cope for another year and a half...

You say that you don't want to be around him, so why not just avoid him? You don't have to be friends with him, so only strive to be civil.
