    State select water heater troubleshooting
I have a State Select electric water heater (M/N ES630DOLSG) that is not heating water. There is electricity (power) going to the unit. Is there a re-set button?

There is a reset button... ;)

Look under the TOP access panel... not the junction box on top, but the access panel on the front. Remove the insulation and you should see a red reset button (see image... red circle). Push this reset button in. If it clicks when pushed you will have hot water in about an hour or so... ;)

If this works, next you'll want to go to a local home supply store an purchase a universal upper and lower thermostat and keep them handy. If the water heater trips again you'll want to replace both the upper and the lower thermostats... simple job! Just make sure that you confirm that power is off to the unit using a working electrical tester before replacing them.

Pop back with any questions as needed.. OK?
