Ok I have a question, I've had my iud for going on three years now and well I haven't had a period or cramps since then, well today I am expierencing a little bit of both is this normal? Also my stings are hangin out so far down I can feel it if I barely insert my fingers and well My fiancé says it pokes him during intercourse now I have no insurance and I got laid off about 7 months ago and I really want this thing out, is there any way to remove this by myself? And what are my risks of doing so? Please help.

Do NOT remove it by yourself. Risks? Damage to your uterus as well as damage to your cervix. If you ever want to have a baby you will NOT do this yourself.
