Can I dna test result in a custody battle
I had met a guy in an AA meeting (should of been a warning sign there)
But anyway I ended uo dating him for about a month but left him due to his drinking problrm which manifested greatly when we were together. I left him and startded seeing this other guy who is now my husband. Well in the early weeks of dating my now husband I found out I was pregnant. We assumed that it was my ex's he said it was not his and wanted a dna test. This all happened in Florida. Now I'm back home where I grew up in ga the baby is a beautiful healthy baby of 3 months. AND NOW the ex boyfriend is trying to claim him. He is pestering my friends about my where abouts and being really obnoxious. I told him to leaves us alone that he denied him in the beginning so what should he want him now? The thing is my son might actually be my husbands because I had dated them so close together between dumping one and dating another so there is a slight possibility that it could be true. My ex boyfriend now wants a dna test and I am afraid he will try to sue for custody. Although he has an active criminal record on repeated violations of probation. Plus he is a druggie and alcoholic, so is new girl he is with. Im tired of receiving threats from him but if we go to court I am wondering is there any way in hell he could get custody with a background like his? I don't want his money I just want him to leave me alone and MY SON.

If he goes to court, the court can order a paternity test. I'd be shocked if he actually got custody, but he might get visitation-hopefully supervised. And that's only if he is in fact the bio dad. If he's not he has no claim whatsoever and you'll be able to put him in your past and keep him there.

He may file for anything he wants to file in court. Most likely if you can prove everything with evidence in court, he will only get supervised visits most likely.

But he can file for what he wants and it willl be decided in court as to what he may get
Joint custody, visitation, or supervised visits.

And yes they will order a DNA test to rpove it.
