Air condition reads a lower temperature that it really is
I have a miller air conditioner window unit, and the digital temperatuer is reading lower than it really is ,so I have it set to 22 degrees, but when I put it on its reading 19 degrees , so the compressor is not tripping on, if I lower the temperature from 22 to 16 degrees, it trips on,but soon it drops the 3 degrees to 16 and stops again, so I used the "dry" mode , but that took it from the 16 down to 11-12 degrees (acording to the digital reading)what is the problem, and how can I fix it, is there a reset button?

The temp display could be defective.

    The thermostat could be defective.

Set the unit where you are comfortable and let it run or start testing and replacing parts.
