    Yellow mucousy discharge
I am 36 weeks pregnant, the baby had dropped and for the last week I've had a yellow mucous-like disharge when I go to the bathroom and wipe... What is that? I 've also been experiencing a dramatic change in fetal movement.. The other day I felt like the baby was going to pop out of my side. It was almost like it was stretching but I felt it's head and visibly saw it move from the top of my belly to the side and it hurt bad.. any ideas?

I would get to your midwife/care provider and make sure you are not in the early stages of labour. A heavy jelly like discharge could be the mucus plug coming away. Get a proper check done to see what is happening.

Thanks so much Eileen for your advice. We went Sunday night and I was in the early stages of labor but, they stopped the contraction and kept for 5 hours and all to send me home. I still feel little ones here and there and my back has been killing me since I was at the hospital but, they said to just keep my next appointment. Should I try to get an earlier appointment? My next one isn't for another two weeks.

Babies come when they want to, not on schedule. If your contractions get stronger, or you are in pain, go straight back. Even if you feel something is different, take it seriously. You really don't want to have an unplanned home birth just because you are keeping your appointment.

Full term is considered to be 37 weeks on. Giving birth at 36 weeks is extremely possible.
