I'm not Mass plumber but my code book,( Standard Plumbing Code) doesn't prohibit such a installation. We install ejector pits in the basement don't we?
Code calls for two manholes to be brought up to grade if the tank's installed under cement or black top. Here's a link that might help; http://www.eco-nomic.com/septic.htm
More questions? I'm as close as a click. Good luck, Tom
