How to wire hampton bay fan and light
Installing a new ceiling fan and light got power from switch box that worked and existing plug using 12/3 wire from box to new ceiling fan, bought a 3 switch hopefully so I can still turn on wall outlet and also work light and fan separately? I know hot lead goes on one side of switch and the 3 switch poles one for light one for fan one for wall outlet but that leaves neutral wire? If I hook it up to hot side red wire is always hot? So what's the best way to wire it so I have all 3 work off the switch?
