99 Ford Ranger is over heating,
Have a 99 ranger. That is over heating. Heater core, thermistat, and belt has been changed, as well as sencer. It is still over heating. I now smell antifreeze in the exhaust pipe. I have flushed the radiator, and replace the cap. There is no water in my oil. Any ideas

You may need to replace the radiator, due to corrosion and/or phosphate scale. Afterwards, refill with a 50/50 mixture of recommended antifreeze and distilled water. These links may help:

Ensure you can feel the rush of coolant, from the water pump, when the top radiator hose is squeezed.

2001 Ranger. I found dangling down from left side rear a hose with a cilp. It was attached to the axle housing. What is it for and where does it go. It just appears to be some type of air hose but is not attached to anything at other end. Should I be concerned? Thanks
