    Toilet closet bend
I am trying to remodel a bathroom and would like to move my toilet to sit against an outside wall. Do people do this? I understand that I would have to put the water line up through the floor, but my concern is more the drain. Currently the toilets in my house drain down and backwards, but being against an outside wall, I would have to drain down and forward. Will this work?

Toilet plumbing closet bend to flange [ 3 Answers ]

I noticed that my newly installed toilet seemed to be a little loose on the flange and used a wrench to snug it up. The nut on one side tightened fine but on the other side, the bolt pulled through a rusted flange (actually a metal collar). The problem came in trying to replace the metal flange....

Hi All, So, yes, I'm learning about plumbing. Please excuse the basic question... What is unique about a "closet bend" fitting? Also, is it applicable to a wall-mounted rear-drain toilet mounted to a wall with 6-inch studs and a near horizontal drain branch along the wall from the toilet?...
