    VCR with no TV tuner
    If I have a VCR with no TV tuner, can I record from Cable TV using an RF Modulator

    No. An RF Modulator does not tune in channels for you. You need a cable box or some other form of an NTSC tuner.

    Clarification--I have a cable box
    I have a digital cable box, but I am still having trouble recording from TV... what I would like to know... If I connect the RF Modulator to the converter box and TV, can I record from TV then on a VCR that has no tuner... will the RF Modulator and cable box provide a TV tuner for me?
