    Ford 6.0 diesel problems when idling
    When idling the engine seem to rev up a little for short periods when sitting at a stop sign seems to want to go sometimes but truck run s fine has a 6.o with 165000 miles on it

    It could be a bad engine. But it would be easy to diagnose the problem if you give us complete description of it. Also, try to observe if the idling rpm drops when the aircon compressor switches on.
