    Your mileage may vary.
Depending on things like vehicle and/or road condition, as well as driving habits, to name a few.
Don't forget to check your tire pressure regularly.

How many miles tread do you normally get from Pirelli low profile tyres, I have only done 14600 miles - is this reasonable - tread is less in the middle of the tyre. Had car from new.

Sounds like you are over-inflating the tires and causing the center tread to wear.

The tire pressure marked on the tire as "Max pressure", do not use. Likely location for inflation pressures are trunk lid or driver's door jamb on most cars.

As with many things in life, tire selection comes down to a compromise: long treadlife or performance handling.
You can't have the best of both.
Your Benz isn't the average grocery getter. It is a performance vehicle. With performance tires. You shouldn't expect high mileage from a performance tire.
Even slightly over inflated tires can cause center wear, particularly if driven aggressively and/or at high speeds. I'm not saying you did, I'm saying I would!

Many thanks for your reply - I know now to replace them with something that will last a little longer. Thanks againhttps://www.askmehelpdesk.com/images/smilies/smile.gif
