    My daughter is almost 18 and she wants her step dad to adopt her ? HOW?
    My daughter is almost 18 her biological father hasn't been in contact for over 10 years. Her step dad wants to adopt her, how do we go about it?

    1. Get a lawyer.
    2. Find the biological father.
    3. Get him to relinquish rights so that the stepfather can adopt.
    4. Go to court to file for adoption.

    Wait until she is 18 and out of school and skip step #2 and #3.
