    Authorized occupant laws
I am an authorized occupant in a home that belongs to my brother in law. Up until Jan 26, th 2010 I also worked for him and my sister. Unfortunately my sister and her husband have separated and I can no longer pay the rent. I have never had a lease but have been in the home since December 2008. What can he do to me? I have two minor children and I am a disabled vet. Can you give me some guidance?

You failed to give us one KEY piece of info. That's where (general area) you live in. Laws vary by location.

But you are a tenant. Whether there is a written agreement or not. Therefor you have all the rights of a tenant. If you can't pay the rent he can evict you, but he has to do so according to local law.
