Kenmore 70's series how to find out if drain is clogged
Washing two small bathroom rugs, but see the backing is coming off one when picked up out of washer. Washer won't spin and drain. How do I find out if it's plugged and how do I clean it? Top load older 70's series washer.

Model #20852990 It fills and agitates but will not drain. I replaced the timer and the problem has not changed. I checked the lid switch, it is OK. Is there any way to drain the tub manually? Also, how do you get the back cover off? It appears to be one piece. Thanks, Jim B.
