Kenmore 60 Series does not drain
    Model #20852990
It fills and agitates but will not drain. I replaced the timer and the problem has not changed. I checked the lid switch, it is OK.
Is there any way to drain the tub manually? Also, how do you get the back cover off? It appears to be one piece.
    Thanks,
    Jim B.

I'll tell you one thing, the Timer is usually NOT the problem. The first thing I Always check first is the lid switch. If it's not the lid swith then it's probably something stuck in the pump at the outlet in the outer tub.
The back NEVER comes off anymore on the newer washers, you take the whole cabinet off on the type of washer that you have.
